Bump The Cutter
College basketball coverage has long been a source of frustration for me. Ambassadors of the sport, as well as access merchants, prevent college hoops from evolving beyond painting coaches as gods no matter the truth behind it.
While not reinventing the wheel, Bump The Cutter is striving to give readers the best of a few worlds. There will still be plenty of on-the-court analysis, discussion and the like, but the goal is to build a communal feel while examining some of the sport’s uncomfortable truths.
Ultimately, it is to bring those who are passionate about college basketball together, even if we all end up disagreeing on whatever topic is being discussed.
The how we got here is a story in itself. A little anecdote that I’ll one day share, but will keep to myself and closest friends for the time being.
